Wednesday Time Wasters: Robocop Sure Likes Chicken
14 January 2009 | By Greg Gangelhoff in Wednesday Time Wasters
That was a Korean commercial featuring Robocop in the role of fried chicken-lover. Why does he take the fridge at the end? Is it defective, or is he just a douchebag? While you ponder that, here are your weekly links:
- Garfield Minus Garfield: Jon Arbuckle has never seemed so sad and lonely.
- People Who Deserve It lets you know who you can punch in the face as a service to society. Notable entry: Too Much Cologne Guy.
- A neat photo essay of Obama’s Secret Service detail, just in time for the inauguration.
- Did you ever wonder what life is like for a Minotaur who runs a China shop? Wonder no more, because now you can do it. Or just wreck the entire store, it’s your call.
- The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks makes for some good grammar humor.
Hit the jump for a video bonanza featuring a lethal frisbee and Rod Blagojevich’s cojones.
Wow, this is so offensive. They couldn’t find someone, anyone in Japan to impersonate Louis Armstrong? I think that’s a sign to open your borders a little. And why does no one in the audience seem to think this is messed up?
I do love my cheesy retro movie scenes. Here, the chauvinistic man kills a dude with a frisbee. Listen for his parting words for the lovely lady, I have certainly taken them to heart:
And finally, Rod Blagojevich has quite the pair. Now you can too!
Have a fun inauguration, and I’ll see you next Wednesday.
