Georgetown Day, our most favourite day of the year, is almost here! Get excited for a day-long celebration featuring a number of activities. This day provides students with an excellent opportunity to cut loose before the stress of finals, so take advantage!

Various events will take place all over campus, the most notable locations being Sellinger Terrace and Regents Lawn.

Sellinger Terrace will be hosting Build a Bulldog at 10 a.m., so if you’ve been pining for your very own little Jack this is the place for you! Student group performances will follow at 1 p.m.

Regents Lawn will have a more carnival-like structure— live music, games, and face-painting will be on offer throughout the day. You’ll also be able to find a number of food stalls here as well, featuring the likes of Swizzlers, Timber Pizza, DC Empanadas, Corp Catering, Insomnia Cookies, Epicurean, and others.

The Georgetown Day Planning Committee also recommends stopping by the Student Center for a free screening of Pitch Perfect 3 later that evening. The film will be shown twice, once at 8 p.m. and again at 11 p.m.
