where does the deer go

Kian Blewett

where’s the buck go when it rains

or the squirrel

into a little hole?

trees now feeling rain

they remain calm

what is nature, but a reflection of ourselves

nothing untouched by humanity

and what is human, really

but that grey smog which has cloaked the earth

nevertheless, i’m cheerful

because life is infinite!

no matter the suffering

what does the deer think of the biggest bird in the sky?

lot of noise

disrupting stillness
