Electric Guest

Catchy, colorful, and compelling are only a few words to describe Electric Guest, an indie-pop band that is performing at the classic D.C. venue the 9:30 Club this Friday, Feb. 7. Having contributed to Carly Rae-Jepsen’s Dedicated and the Grammy-winning “Feel it Still” by Portugal. the Man, Electric Guest brings not only fun but also extreme talent. Electric Guest combines synth and piano beats with smooth falsetto, creating irresistible dance anthems. Opening for Electric Guest will be the multi-talented Soleima, a Danish alternative/pop-rock artist. She incorporates her experiences as an anthropologist and documentary-maker into her music, bringing a unique variety of sounds to her music. Creative and dynamic, Soleima is a must-see.

In addition to the great artists, the 9:30 Club is an incredible venue. A D.C. staple since 1980, 9:30 has featured a variety of iconic artists from Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Tony Bennett.

Not only will you get to see great performances by Electric Guest and Soleima in a terrific venue, but you will also be giving to an important cause! $1 of the ticket proceeds goes to Stand for Children, an organization that ensures all students receive a high quality education.
